Donald Trump is back on the campaign trail. The former president visited New Hampshire and South Carolina over the weekend, officially kicking off his 2024 presidential campaign. Trump was met with roaring applause at both events as he reaffirmed his commitment to preserving New Hampshire’s first-in-the-nation primary status. He even announced Steve Stepanaek, who co-chaired his first presidential campaign in the Granite State, would be joining his team as a senior adviser for his New Hampshire campaign.
Trump also aimed at the media for their attempts to brand his campaign as “sluggish” by pointing out that it’s still early in the race and he has yet to hold a rally – but added that he is more committed now than ever before. A recent poll showed that Trump is three points ahead of President Joe Biden and remains the lone GOP candidate in the race.
The former president also unveiled several policy plans on issues such as free speech protection, drug cartels, and economic “Crown Jewels” from communist China. His favorability surged by 15 points since December according to a recent poll.
After giving a keynote address in New Hampshire, Donald Trump traveled down to Columbia, South Carolina where he held an official campaign event surrounded by strong supporters such as Senator Lindsey Graham and Governor Henry McMaster. At this event, both men praised Trump’s accomplishments and Graham proclaimed there was only one Donald Trump when it comes to policies: “Everybody has been talking about China; you did something about China; they finally paid.”
Donald Trump then stopped at a local business where a worker prayed over him before heading home for the day after two successful events in two important states of the upcoming election. It looks like President Donald J. Trump may have another chance at becoming America’s leader once again!
