President Joe Biden and his family have been accused of several financial entanglements with China. Peter Schweizer, a senior Breitbart News contributor and president of the Government Accountability Institute, argues these issues should be investigated further.
According to Schweizer, the Bidens received $31 million from Chinese entities which all had ties to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence. Specifically, Hunter Biden had multiple transactions with individuals connected to the Chinese government. This money was allegedly given without any discernible services being performed by Hunter in return for it.
The allegations against Joe and Hunter Biden were first brought to light in 2018 when Peter Schweizer released his book Secret Empires which hit number one on the New York Times bestseller list. This book exposed how Joe and Hunter Biden flew aboard Air Force Two in 2013 before Hunter’s firm inked a $1.5 billion deal with a subsidiary of the Bank of China just two weeks later. Furthermore, Schweizer uncovered other foreign deals that enriched the Bidens personally.
Emma-Jo Morris at the New York Post then revealed through her investigative work that Joe Biden was intimately involved in Hunter’s businesses, appearing to even have a 10 percent stake in a company formed between Hunter and officials from within the Chinese Communist Party itself.
For those reasons alone, Republicans are calling for an investigation into Joe and Hunter Biden’s relationship with China as soon as possible so that Americans can know if their President is doing business behind closed doors with one of our greatest geopolitical rivals – or worse – using his position for personal gain at taxpayers’ expense.
