The Biden administration’s policies have been disastrous for the Southern Border and our nation as a whole. President Biden promised to “restore the right,” but his actions have only exacerbated the situation at the border, resulting in an influx of illegal immigrants pouring over it.
It is deeply concerning that he waited two years after taking office to even visit the Southern Border, and his speech did not address this issue in any meaningful way. He touted a “pathway to citizenship” for certain groups of people, but seems blind to what this means for law-abiding citizens who want nothing more than safety and security within their borders.
The Republican party has long stood by its promise of protecting our border, which is why many members shouted “Secure The Border!” during President Biden’s State of the Union speech on Tuesday night. This was met with silence from President Biden who seemed unwilling or unable to confront this pressing issue head-on.

As of October, 5.5 million illegal immigrants were “encountered” at the border since Biden took office according to a report from FAIR (Federation for American Immigration Reform). This number speaks volumes about how ineffective his policies have been thus far when it comes to tackling immigration issues at our southern border.
It is time to act swiftly on this matter and take steps toward restoring order and security at our borders before it spirals out of control. We cannot allow too much time to go by before the Biden administration starts taking action. It needs to happen before more damage is done and we are left facing an even bigger problem down the line.
